Size Doesn’t Matters Dj Si Kurrage & Soul Motive Dj Marky Mark Dancetrax join forces on Londons Pointblank Radio, playing the best in upfront & retro house, disco, funk, soul, Balearic beats, oldskool dance, cosmic grooves & recalled rhythms.<\/span><\/p>\n

One of West London\u2019s best-loved homegrown talents Si Kurrage is a dedicated vinyl junkie. Working firstly for the original rave organization \u201cWorld Dance\u201d and \u201cAWOL\u201d (1992-99) and then \u201cMilk and 2 Sugars\u201d (1997-2002), Kurrage earned his stripes with some of the most legendary DJ\u2019s in the business. In the past years, Simon enjoyed being production manager and a resident Dj at the hugely successful \u201cMulletover\u201d, \u201cCanal Party\u201d, \u201cEastern Electrics\u201d events which helped reinvented the warehouse experience for many in London\u2026 Along the way Kurrage has amassed a close network of London based DJs and promoters, he is co-founder of the famous \u201cSize Doesn\u2019t Matter\u201d seven inches only night,(With Mr. Shiver, Dj Dementia, Mastomic, and Dj Thor), Disco King of the sultry and ever so slightly saucy \u201cAphrodisiacs\u201d and a firm regular at the \u201cMuse Parties\u201d, \u201cThe Notting Hill Carnival\u201d and regularly supports and Djs for Stuart Patterson at the Notorious \u201cDate\u201d and \u201cGiant\u201d parties. Recent excursions and residencies have included regular sets at \u201cUp On the Roof\u201d (7th year running) warming up for the likes of Norman Jay, Scratch perverts, Dj Yoda, Neenah Cherry, Grandmaster Flash, and the most excellent carnival kings Sancho Panza. Festivals- The past 6 years Si has enjoyed programming line ups and DJ’ing at various Festivals across the country<\/span><\/p>\n

Dj MarkyMark\/Dancetrax\/Soul Motive DJs has been spinning discs & Dj’ing since the early ’90s, Playing on numerous stations and events in the UK as well as abroad. Music genres played include deep\/jazzy\/soulful house, eclectic \/ Balearic grooves, disco, funk, soul & 80s groove & dance classics. He also runs Dancetrax vinyl pop-up record shop, selling online the finest vintage vinyl records.<\/span><\/p>\n
